Credence Barebone was a popular guy – he had a special powerful power that Gellert Grindelwald wanted to use. But this character also had a twist, and is related in some way to the powerful wizard Albus Dumbledore. He wasn’t a part of the original Harry Potter books, but was introduced in the Fantastic Beasts series.

Background
Credence Barebone was an orphan who lived with Mary Lou Barebone in a house where he was forced to hand out No-Maj flyers in opposition to his natural heritage. This suppression of his abilities helped turn him into a Obscurial which gave him great powers but a short(er) lifespan.
