All the 2024 LEGO Dreamzzz Sets – so far.

Last year, LEGO launched the Dreamzzz series – a fantastic world where LEGO meets TV. In adition to the sets released last year, The LEGO Group has announced 5 new releases. Here are all the 2024 LEGO Dreamzzz sets so far.

LEGO Dreamzzz is one of my favorite new themes. It is sort of hard to explain, but so much fun to play with.

Basically, every set can be built 2 ways – there is the real world way, and then the set can be converted into the dream world where it is more fantastical and magical.

You have several main characters: Mateo, Izzie, Cooper, Logan, and Zoey, and Z-blob (we can’t forget Z-blob) who have a regular life, but then using dream craft venture into the world of the nightmare king where they battle to help each other and of course save the world from his evil takeover.

History of LEGO Dreamzzz

LEGO Dreamzzz launched in 2023 with 10 sets. The concept was new and original, with a big launch for both the sets and the TV and Streaming shows. You can watch the entire series on Netflix, but to get an idea of what it all about, LEGO has released the first episode for free on Youtube:

The first Dreamzzz sets are, to me, what LEGO is all about – starting with a really good model, and then playing with it and adjusting it to suit your needs and play style.

I see so many people building sets on line and showing off their Hauls. They have amazig displays in their LEGO rooms, but never “play” with the sets. People don’t MOC or re-create sets as much.

My main issue with the original Dreamzzz launch was the same as many other influencers – the sets were too expensive. There were some at the $20 price point, but the good ones were $50 or more, and there were even 2 that cost over $100. That’s a lot for a set marketed more towards the kids end.

Thankfully these new sets have a much lower average price point. It will be a lot easier to collect all of them and build out your collection.

Mateo’s Off-Road Racer

Who is LEGO Z-blob?

The Main Character is Mateo, and he is a creative kid. Often he would find himself doodling in his notebook and one of his recurring character was this green slime-like creature.

But in the Dream World Z-blog is much more. He is a powerful ally and friend to Mateo and his gang. Not quite a mythical creatures, z-blog fights as dream chasers, and in one famous episode is turned into a robot who rescues their friend Cooper.

That is the basis of the 2023 Dreamzzz set Mateo and Z-Blob the Robot 71454.

Final Thoughts

I can’t wait to get my hands on these new LEGO Dreamzzz sets. They all work well together, and have some fun and cool parts, minifigures and building techniques that I am looking forward to exploring. I actually enjoy playing with these sets. That’s one of the reasons they make such a great gift for LEGO fans of all ages.
