Did you ever see the movie “Back to the Future” I think it was at the end of the first one when the Doc flys onto Marty’s street in the Delorian Time Machine. Marty gets into the car, and then the car launches into the air slowly, with the wheels and tires folding underneath the carriage for aerodynamics. That’s what this Car reminds me of, but it it also part helicopter. So there is that. What do you think of it? It comes with 4 minifigures and over 400 pieces.

A car, a Jet, 3 minifigures and all of it is Ninjago. Yes Please. Well, it’s not really a car, it’s really more of a green motorcycle because it has 2 wheels instead of 4. But the Jet is a jet for sure.

Some people like LEGO vehicles. Other like LEGO Mechs. I’m a big fan of ciy scenes made out of LEGO, and that’s why the 2020 LEGO Ninjago Market Place is one of my favorite sets from the series this year. It comes with 9 minifigures and 218 pieces so you can build and play all afternoon long.

Have you seen these new trans clear minifigure stands? They are included in the new LEGO DC Minifigure CMF packs, but I expect to be seeing them in lots of new sets coming out in 2020. These tiny, clear pieces have a 45-degree angle and have a inverted LEGO stud at one end with a hole and the other is the perfect size to fit in the claw hand.

As a parent I want to make sure my kid is playing with something cool, but isn’t too violent. This is where LEGO ninjago comes in. I know that they are not vulgar or graphic, teach good lessons, but are still interesting enough that the series and toys will keep his attention. Yes there are swords, and magic and stuff like that but overall the lessons learned from the shows are valuable. The Cole’s speeder is a set designed for younger builders, starting at age 4, and comes with 2 minifigures and 52 pieces.

I haven’t had the time to watch all the Ninjago series yet, but is this really a thing? a Golden Mech? I completely understand the idea. Mechs are everywhere, from the early Voltron, to modern Hulkbuster, everyone wants to jump in a giant Robot suit and take over (or protect) the world. The Ninjago Golden Mech has 489 pieces, and comes with 4 minifigures as we will discuss below.

There are quite a few new 2020 LEGO Ninjago sets coming up, including this one number 71700 Jungle Raider. For about $10, you get a Lloyd minifigure and a cool off road vehicle built from 127 pieces that has a ton of the golden Katana’s he is always on a quest for.

LEGO 75272 Star Wars Sith TIE Fighter

The first time I saw a Tie Fighter, it had square wings. Then we got introduced to Darth Vader’s Tie Fighter, and it had wings that were angled in a little bit. Making it different, and special for the Sith Lord. This version with the Triangle wings with red edges takes the evil ships to a new level. The LEGO 75272 Star Wars Sith TIE Fighter is built using 470 pieces, and has 3 minifigures, plus some cool green shooters.

Some say this is the most epic battle in Star Wars. The lightsaber duel between Obi Wan and Anakin in the lava certainly is my favorite scene in ALL the different Star Wars movies. It’s the moment when Anakin becomes Darth Vader to me – Yeah, I know it officially happens earlier with the Emperor, but for me this is the point.
