LEGO January 2024 GWP

Every month LEGO offers a Free Gift with Purchase. For the New year the LEGO January 2024 GWP is the Retro Food Truck 40681. It is only available in LEGO stores and on the LEGO website.

To kick off the new year, LEGO is offering the first Gift with Purchase for 2024 as set 40681, the Retro Food Truck. It is designed to go with the latest LEGO modular released, the Natural History Museum. If you are curious, I also have a post with all the LEGO modulars ever made.

I’ve made a list of all the new 2024 LEGO Sets. You can use any of them to qualify for this GWP.

This set has 310 pieces, but in order to get it for free you have to spend $190 (not the original $200 that was reported) . As far as I know there is no way to buy it outright. Also once they are gone, they are gone – you will only be able to buy it on the second-hand market. It is available from 1/1 until 1/16 (or unless they run out first). 40681 Retro Food Truck

The first LEGO January 2024 GWP. Bring the meal to you in the Retro Food Truck!

Similar to the City Penguin Slushy Van, or the Burger Truck (coming out in Jan 2024, too), or any one of the numerous Friend’s Food Trucks that have been out for a while.

This 6-wide Vehicle fits perfectl in your LEGO City Streets and brings you hot dogs, drinks and more.

With a removable roof, where you can see inside (and access all the play features, as well as a folding sandwich board, this truck has everything you need!

The two minifigures incldued are the truck driver/chef, and a man who is very hungry!

As for the styling of this truck, it is indeed retro. From the old-school front grill, to the red and white folding awning over the food window. Even the red white, and light blue colors are reminiscent of a time gone by.

Pick up this truck with the new Natural History Museum Modular, and when your guests are coming home, they can grab a quick bite to eat!
