Every year, LEGO releases several different Advent Holiday Sets.  Typically they come out in the late summer.  These sets sell slowly at first, but as you get closer to the holidays they become more difficult to find.  When they are gone, they are gone!  Just like the Christmas LEGO sets that come out yearly.

There are several different lines of LEGO Advent Calendars that come out:

Each day leading up to December 25th, you get to open a new LEGO-themed door on the calendar and discover a special holiday-themed LEGO build. It’s the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit – and you might even learn a thing or two about LEGO along the way!

What is an advent calendar?

An advent calendar is a special calendar used to countdown the days until Christmas. Each day, you open a new door on the calendar and find a surprise inside. Advent calendars can be filled with all sorts of things, but LEGO advent calendars are some of the most popular.

LEGO is one of the most popular toys in the world and has been around for over 80 years! LEGO bricks are perfect for building all sorts of festive holiday-themed creations – from wintry snowmen to jolly Santa Claus figures. Plus, they’re just plain fun to play with!

How do LEGO Advent Calendars work?

Each LEGO Advent Calendar has 24 different doors, each hiding a special LEGO build behind it. You can open one door per day leading up to Christmas Day on December 25th. Some LEGO Calendars also come with a special LEGO minifigure or accessory that you’ll find hidden behind one of the doors.

However, lots of LEGO influencers open them early and post the results online.  I hate to say it, but I also do this too now.
