You can tell the difference between the two chipmunks because Chip has the black nose (like a chocolate chip). He is the smarter one of the two, but don’t let them fall in love, because then all bets are off!

History

Chip can be identified by his black (chocolate chip) nose. His brother Dale has the red nose. They were first introduced in 1943 in the movie Private Pluto and have been beloved ever since. They are quite mischievous, but have a good heart.
