The  LEGO Iron Man (Mark 1)  comes fully assembled and includes the helmet.  There is no flip up face shield on this version.  In addition, LEGO shipped this minfigure “weathered”.   Even though this is a brand new minifigure, it looks like it has already been through a batttle.  The suit and paint look damaged, although that’s the way it was made.  No instructions, bag, or additional pieces are included.  The face is a simple trans clear head with no printing.

Even though this is the very first Iron Man Suit, we have waited a long time for the LEGO iron man mark 1 minifigure.  At last we have it with the release of the Avengers Endgame sets, and the Iron Man Hall of Armor set.

Background

The MK1 Iron Man suit is the most basic and primitive of all the suits.  It was built in a cave from scrap iron, and leftover parts from weapons from Stark Industries.  As a result, it only has 2 basic weapons: a flamethrower, and rockets.  The user does have enhanced strength and can punch harder when wearing the suit.  Additionally, there are solid-state rockets in the boots, but no flight control, so the wearer can fly, but it’s more like an emergency escape measure than anything sophisticated.

The iron suit does provide protection against most bullets and other small arms.

Trivia:

  • This suit was powered by the first ARC reactor and is the basis for all other suits.
  • The LEGO iron man mark 1 does not come with a printed face.
